ZAM, creative agency in gaming and entertainment, sought to develop a comprehensive brand motion system that would align all motion assets under a cohesive visual identity. This initiative aimed to ensure consistency, establish scalable guidelines, and enhance the brand’s presence across digital platforms.
To address these challenges, I developed a standardized motion design language. This included guidelines for timing, transitions, and typography effects, ensuring a consistent experience across all channels. For the web, I utilized Lottie animations to deliver lightweight, responsive assets that integrated seamlessly into the site’s design. Outside of web use, the new system allowed for a more streamlined production process, as reusable design principles were applied across all motion projects.
The introduction of this cohesive motion language strengthened ZAM’s brand identity by ensuring every animation adhered to a unified style. The reusable guidelines made it simpler to expand the system over time and sped up the overall production process. Lottie specifically enhanced web animations by providing a lightweight, easily implementable solution.
This project was a collaborative effort with the creative director, design team, and developers. Together, we built a motion design system that not only elevated ZAM’s visual presence but also prepared it for future growth and scalability.
